Hello my bitches, I'm back and i have been on a spending spree lately would should make a lot of artists happy! So today I would like to review one of the first albums I bought in my spending spree. I was reluctant at first as I found him really irritating and annoying and I thought he absolutely sucked balls but for some strange reason I found myself liking him more and more that is the one and only Ed Sheeran and his album +. I think it might have been the STD I caught off a new lady friend that led me to liking him so I did splash out.

The album starts with the 'A Team' and no it's not reference to that 80's show of the same name with Mr T (much to my dismay, I loved Mr T, if more men could harden the fuck up like Mr T we would have half the fucking whinging pussies we have now, but that's another story). it's a really sad song about a young drug addicted prostitute (not that there is anything wrong with that). We then move onto one of my all time favourite topics 'Drunk' now I am an expert on this topic and I found the line "I wanna be drunk when I wake up" to be a soundtrack to my life, it's like this song was reading my mind.  This song alone makes it all worthwile. Then we move onto 'U.N.I. this song was about breaking up with your girlfriend. I know that feeling but muscle up little princess plenty more pussy out there for you sample. The next song is 'Wake Me Up' which I sort of liked. 'Small Bump' is about teen miscarriage, which is a bit heavy a topic for a song so I usually skip it, I mean seriously , miscarriage, not cool bro! We then move onto a couple of songs I feel are fillers, in which yeah there Ok but I could easily not listen to them just as I could listen to them.
We then get to 'Lego House' it was this song that I absolutely fucking hated when I first heard it, then it started growing on me much like a festering wart, till I was singing along to it when I was in the bath (yes I bathe, none of that showering shit, I mean just get the fucking hose out you filthy animals!). Then it's the massive hit 'You need me, now I don't need you' which is pretty much my anthem to all my ex lady friends, you know who you are but sorry ladies this Monkey's made to please all the ladies not just you, no tears you knew I was too good for you, I know I know, but at least you will have the memories. Anyway, I do love the vibe of this song and the lyrics are cool too, it's just a really cool song with heaps of street cred. The closing tracks 'Kiss Me' and 'Give me Love' are all right.

All in all it was good, the standout songs made it worth while, but it felt like he was still experimenting a bit and at times it was kind of all the same especially the acoustic guitar tracks and the lyrics seem pretty heavy (not that emo shit is it? So all up I am giving it 3 and half shots of whiskey out of 5 and that's only because it has the theme song to my life - "I wanna be drunk when I wake up..." and lego house reminds me of redi and his lego hair! (suck it bitch)

    Herbie The
    Music Monkey

What’s up my bitches? I’m Herbie, the music reviewer. I love bananas and whiskey and I just love music and I will rate any CD in my own special way. See what I do is whack the headphones on and play it loud, if I love it and it moves me I will crack out the dance moves (the moonwalk is my signature move, that and the reach around, but that’s another story) or if it’s heavy I will head bang, and if I hate it well the monkey comes out in me and I will usually smear the CD in my own excrement (hey I’m a monkey after all).
