Fuck that nasty bitch Redi he gave me that pig flu thing. I told Redi to stop kissing porkers but the bitch don’t listen. This is basically the first time that I actually feel OK.
Anyway in the time that I was coughing and oinking, in my week long hiatus, I was listening to quite a few albums and today I will be reviewing the awesomeness that is Kate Miller-Heidke. I stumbled across her whilst listening to the local radio station and I must say I am so impressed.
Her album I will be reviewing today is “Curiouser”. This album is unreal, it’s awesome, it’s the shit, it’s the bomb!
Kate Miller-Heidke is such an awesome singer that this album is an absolute gem, one that will become a classic such is the divine power of her voice.
The first song on it is ‘The one thing I know’ it is an awesome song with a real operatic feel to it, which is fitting because Kate Miller-Heidke was studying to be an opera singer. The second song is ‘God’s gift to women’ such an awesome song I mean the title could have been written about me (I know Kate Miller-Heidke, I am god’s gift I mean with my massive testicles how on earth could I go wrong hey!) This is a great song her vocals just kill me, so sweet so full of venom.’Caught in the crowd’ is a lament about what was obviously about some sad ass boy she knew at school it has a hilarious ending (I won’t spoil it for you). ‘Can’t shake it’ has a real electro-synth pop feel that is quite infectious. ‘The last day on earth’ is the stand out on the album I must tell you that I cried when I saw the video clip, it is such an awesome song, so full of passion and sadness that it really sucks you in (yes, I know I’m going soft, but let me tell you my cock is still hard) I especially love the bit at the end when she says “I ache, I ache, I ache” just potent.
‘I like you better when you’re not around’ is another great song very catchy lyrics and great music such a great beat and just a great sounding song. ‘Motorscooter’ is another gem that has a great syth-electro feel and her voice man I am in love with that voice. ‘The end of school’ is a much slower song but this is what I love about Kate Miller-Heidke she is so kooky and out there and her music is so eclectic yet she makes it all work. ‘Politics in space’ has a great beat. ‘Supergirl’ is one song that you can really get into singing along too. ‘Our song’ features Kate Miller-Heidke’s voice it is another stand out song on the album. Lastly ‘No truck’ is another awesome song.
Overall this is such a great album from Kate Miller-Heidke and is worthy of any one’s collection, I am giving it 4 and a 1/2 shots of whisky out of 5, yes it’s that could now go out an get it!
Peace out my bitches!
