The E.N.D stands for the energy never dies, and on this album it certainly doesn’t!
Man what an awesome album, it has been on heavy rotation all weekend!
The album starts out with the first song “Boom Boom Pow” and this pretty much sets the tone for the whole album. The first song is so catchy and I especially love the part when Fergie belts out her vocals. That Fergie is the bomb isn’t she! She certainly has something, I think it’s that MILF look! A down and dirty mum that belts out a song with class and style lacking from so many female singers today oh and she looks really hot too, she has that real soccer mum look (yeah I know, but hey, admit it, you’d tap her if you had the chance), I mean any chick that can sing a song with lyrics that go “my humps, my humps, my lovely lady lumps”. Fergie baby I would love to feel your lady lumps and then hump you, oh dreams are free. Anyway, back to the song.
I love the way they all have a vocal part in the song from Fergie, to Will i am and then apl de ap and lastly taboo, some how with all those different voices and the music it all just works it’s awesome. The music and the lyrics they really get you up dancing and singing it, no wonder it was the first single. You really know the Black Eyed Peas are a force to be reckoned with in the music world when you hear this song.
Anyway back to the album, the second song “Rock that body” is another gem. It’s almost as if Will i am is at his best again and as a musician and producer he certainly excels on this album. It certainly is a great follow up to their “Monkey Business” album.
The next song that stands out for me is track 5 “I Gotta Feeling” this song at first just doesn’t sound or feel like a Black eyed peas song at all, but it grows on you, really, really fast and I am at the stage now that I think this is my favourite song on the album.
Will i am is such a major talent and this album benefits from his genius and songs like “Party all the time”, and “Ring a ling” speak volumes for his talent and ability. The electronic beats, the mashing of different styles from reggae to electronica and yet somehow Will i am pulls them all together and they all sound so unique and just inspiring.
The album is basically non stop energy With songs like “Electric city”, “Showdown” and “Rockin to the Beat” this album has number one written all over it.
Now if I could just get into a club and watch the chicky babes bouncing their boobs as they dance to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it actually no I went banana’s for it (I know, that’s racist and not to mention clichéd but who cares, ” I got that Boom, Boom Pow”!)
So all up I am giving it 4 shots of whiskey out of five, super awesome album and definitely one for the collection, now where was I oh yeah, come here Fergie I haven’t felt the other lady lump yet! I have to, otherwise it will be jealous of the one I felt, ah that’s better. Fergie baby, yeah that’s better feel my man lumps biatch!
Peace out my bitches.
